The idea behind the conference is to bring together not only scientists, but also industry representatives. „I highly value direct meetings and my goal here is to leverage synergy between people who usually do not get the opportunity to share ideas and experience.” says Paweł Gajewski, Heat not Lost CEO and coorganizer of the conference. “I strive to improve cooperation between the world of science and the world of industry. The format of the conference allows theory to meet practice, and I expect the effects of this encounter to be fruitful for both sides.”
Following this purpose the organizing committee will ensure collaboration between the Research Committee and Board of Specialists. The most prominent representatives from the world of science will attend to the Research Committee while top executives from major companies will be present in the Board of Specialists. “Professor Zbigniew Płutecki had pointed out, that scientific articles published by either experienced scientists or young scholars reach narrow circles of readers and technical solutions proposed in those articles rarely get the opportunity to be proven in practice”, says Paweł Gajewski, “On the other hand, Power Industry companies are constantly implementing various solutions to improve energy efficiency and are looking towards fresh ideas.” Heat not Lost conference is going to become a unique occasion to present and discuss interesting projects, moreover, it will enable industry to articulate its needs.
Challenges of power efficiency still require fresh ideas, openness and the ability to go beyond horizons. Format and scope of II International Scientific and Technological Conference Heat not Lost are designated to shape and support this perspective – and that is our mission.
